according to the xi'an municipal transportation management office, since february 10, each passenger station in xi'an will gradually resume the operation of inter-provincial routes according to the market demand, but only for the lines in low-risk areas (the routes to beijing are currently suspended), and passengers are strictly prohibited from getting on and off stations in medium and high-risk areas.

as of february 8, shaanxi province was designated low-risk for covid-19 in all areas, for those who do have to travel out of town, the green health code must be presented.
latest policy for inbound visitors to shaanxi
for visitors from medium and high risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities), centralized isolation and observation measures for 14 days shall be implemented (calculation of isolation period is based upon the time of leaving the above areas), during which four nucleic acid tests will be carried out(the first, third, seventh and thirteenth days respectively).
for visitors from other counties (cities, districts, banners) of the prefectures involving medium and high risk areas, passing-through will be approved upon checking the health code and the negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.
for visitors from low-risk areas other than above-mentioned areas, visitors shall not be restricted from returning to their hometowns or required to present the nucleic acid test results.

travelers leaving (returning) xi'an who had close contacts or whose activities intersected with the confirmed cases and their close contacts
for travelers leaving (returning) xi'an who used to travel within medium and high risk areas and the corresponding counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities), they shall first report to the community (village), their working places or the hotels where they are staying, and cooperate with the 14-day of central isolation and medical observation, during which four-time (the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 13 days) nucleic acid tests and other preventive and control measures will be carried out.
for travelers leaving (returning) xi'an who used to travel within other counties (cities, districts, banners, townships or streets of municipalities and sub-provincial cities) of the prefectures involving medium and high risk areas, they shall first report to the community (village), their working places or the hotels where they are staying, and cooperate with following the health code check, presenting negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours, also following the health monitoring and other preventive and control measures.
