what is the autonomous rail train? it looks like a tram car, powered by electricity. but there is no physical track. the train is automatically guided by sensors that recognize the virtual track line on the road.the train mainly travels along expressways and the center of main roads, applying a dedicated right-of-way road traffic operation, with a maximum capacity of 300 to 500 passengers and a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour.the 11.9 km long smart rail at kunming lake section is in the shape of a u, with 9 stations.the stations and other infrastructures have been completed, and the train just made its debut. the entire autonomous rail is expected to be officially opened soon.
sky shuttle at xi'an high-tech development zone
as a new mode of transportation, sky shuttle features in a small capacity, light body and low cost.this rail transit system is the first in xi'an to apply the "sky shuttle", starting from yuzha zhai in the north and ending at wei 28th road in the south. it passes through many key areas such as software new city and jinye road. the entire rail is elevated from the ground, with a total length of 17.2 kilometers, and a total of 18 stations are set up.
with a maximum capacity of about 200 passengers and a maximum speed of 80 km per hour, this sky shuttle will become the first rail transit line in xi'an high-tech zone that integrates transportation, sight-seeing and promotes regional development.
self-driving bus
the self-driving system of the bus can recognize a variety of traffic signs and road feature markings, it can also steadily detect vehicles at 600 meters ahead and pedestrians at 300 meters. the bus is able to slow down and avoid when encountering vehicles changing lanes ahead, pedestrians intruding or obstacles. it is endowed with safe, reliable and comfortable self-driving functions, and is suitable for industrial parks, demonstration roads and tourist attractions.fengxi new city has preliminarily built the first self-driving test section in shaanxi province, passing through major areas such as xjtu innovation port and western cloud valley. these self-driving buses are about to run on a trial basis at the end of october.
